Gretchen has 20+ years of experience in non-profit management and fund development. She has held professional management positions at local and statewide agencies including serving as Executive Director for The Women’s Advocacy Project, Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, the Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin and the College for All Texans Foundation. Having served as a caretaker and advocate for her husband, Art, when he was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia and treated with a bone marrow transplant in his early 30s, Gretchen has a special affinity for those dealing with rare diseases. Gretchen lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, Art, who is a computer scientist. She has two adult children both who work in the health care technology industry.
